At the Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center, 50 N. George St., York:
Tonight’s Huey Lewis and the News concert is sold out, but there are lots of other events this weekend.
New Hope: Night of the Arts is 7 tonight at the Capitol Theatre. [$3]
Hayes Carll and Bob Schneider will co-headline a CapLive concert 8 p.m. Friday at the Capitol Theatre. [$22]
– The York Symphony Orchestra, DreamWrights Youth and Family Theater and Midstate Ballet team up for the Saturday morning concert, “Under the Big Top,” 10 a.m. at the Strand. [$8]

On stage:
– See the one-man play “Remarkable Radical: The Life and Times of Thaddeus Stevens” 7:30 tonight at The Ware Center, 42 N. Prince St., Lancaster. [$18 for general admission, $15 for seniors and $5 for students]
– See “Bat Boy: The Musical” 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at York Little Theatre, 27 S. Belmont St., Spring Garden Township. The show is for a mature crowd and runs through March 30. [$20 to $25]
Inspire! Studio of the Arts will present a concert 7 p.m. Saturday at Emmanuel Christian Fellowship Church, 2309 E. Philadelphia St., Springettsbury Township.
– American Hollar will release its debut album with a party 10 p.m. Saturday at The Cove, 1500 S. George St., Spring Garden Township.
“Stomp” will storm the stage 4 and 8 p.m. Saturday at American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster. [$55]
– Pianist Ann Schein will join the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra for a concert 8 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at The Forum, 500 Walnut St., Harrisburg. [$6 to $66]

– Check out a list of events at regional parks.
– View the Moon, planets and Orion Nebula during the Spring Open House 6:30 p.m. Friday at The Spoutwood Farm Center, 4255 Pierceville Road, Codorus Township. A telescope clinic starts at 5:30. [Free]
– Celebrate National Nutrition Month 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at The Byrnes Health Education Center, 515 S. George St., York. Families can learn about making informed food choices and developing sound eating and physical activity habits. [Free]
– Prolonged cold pushed Roundtop Mountain Resort‘s Pond Skimming to the first weekend of spring. It starts 2 p.m. Saturday on the Warrington Township slopes. Register at 12:30.
– Marine Science Educators will teach visitors about wildlife at the shore during Ocean Days 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 12:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Richard M. Nixon County Park, 5922 Nixon Road, Springfield Township. [$2; free for kids 5 and younger and park members]

– The 67th Annual Zembo Shrine Circus runs through Sunday at the Zembo Shrine Center, Third and Division streets, Harrisburg. [general admission seats are $13; box seats are $22; free parking in Third Street lots]
– Bring the whole family to a screening of “Frozen” 6 tonight at Kaltreider Benfer Library, 147 S. Charles St., Red Lion. There will be two showings of the film. All children must be accompanied by an adult. [Free]
– Support the local 4-H during a Benefit Auction 6 p.m. Friday at the 4-H Center, 771 Stoverstown Road, West Manchester.
– Irish Fest continues Saturday at Appalachian Brewing Co., 50 N. Cameron St., Harrisburg. Head to Kegs & Eggs 9 to 11 a.m. Don’t miss the Bloody Mary bar. [$12.50 for adults; $6 for kids younger than 12]
– Have some feline fun at the Catfederacy Cat Show 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Lincoln Elementary School, 98 Lefever Street, Gettysburg. [$3 for adults; $2 for students; $1 for kids younger than 5]
– Watch a “Rock Band” competition at Kids Rock 7 p.m. Saturday at the Valencia Ballroom, 142 N. George St., York The Children’s Home of York benefit will feature food, drinks and auctions, [$55]
